What is Domain name?

A domain name is the human-friendly address of your website — for example danetsserver.com. Under the hood it maps to a numeric IP address through DNS, so visitors never have to remember numbers. Domains are registered per year through a registrar, and in Nigeria you can register both global endings like .com and local ones like .ng or .com.ng. You own the domain for as long as you keep renewing it, so always keep the contact email on the registration up to date.
