What is SSH?
Secure Shell — the encrypted command-line way to log in to a VPS or server remotely.
SSH (Secure Shell) is the standard protocol for opening an encrypted command-line session on a remote server. Developers and admins use it to manage VPSes: deploying code, editing configs, checking logs and installing packages. Access is authenticated with a password or, better, a key pair that cannot be guessed. Our KB has a step-by-step guide to connecting to your VPS over SSH from Windows, macOS or Linux.
